It's no doubt been designed based on some sort of study that says it should actually be easier to use in the long term, but it'll take you at least 18 months of constantly muttering swear words under your breath and deleting things before you can type a single sentence properly.

タイトルからすごいやね。
「長期的には使いやすいけれど、最低18ヶ月間は、罵り言葉をぶつくさと呟き続け、一つのセンテンスを正しく入力し切れるようになるまで、入力したものを削除しまくって下さいね。」
みたいな感じ。
多分この人は、K下辺りでスペースバーを打つのが癖になってて、スペースのつもりで打つと全部後退になってしまう、てことなんだろうね。

why on Earth would you move around all of the non-QWERTY keys? ALT is now sitting to the left of the A key, PgUp, PgDn, Home and End are now sitting way over on the left side of the keyboard, and the space bar looks to be smaller than your average Enter key! Baffling.

「何でこんなに機能キー群をあっちゃこっちゃ動かさにゃならんのじゃ。スペースバー小っさいし何コレ」
記事タイトル？の mess with は、辞書引いてみたら、「（分かりもしないのに）いじくりまわす」とか言う意味で、まぁ全体的には「酷いもんだよね」ってニュアンスの記事。
最後のほうには、「高っかいし、誰が買えるんだよこんなもん」みたいに結んでいる。

なんて冗談もあるぐらいで、他の言語の事情なんか知ったことか、ていう態度が、よく現れてはいる。
